Alfonso Serrano falleció el 12 julio 2011, hoy hace 11 años. Dirigió @iaunam e @inaoe_mx, que tuvo un gran desarrollo bajo su liderazgo. Director adjunto en @Conacyt_MX y por 25 años líder del @gtmlmt_oficial, el cual lleva hoy su nombre y es el mayor telescopio del @ehtelescope.
