The biomaterial fork shows greater degradation than the wood, but only crumbs remain of the fork made of Solinatra!

The time it takes to compost in a garden compost bin/heap varies on factors like where you live, what else is in the compost and how regularly the compost is turned; but a coffee capsule made of Solinatra will degrade in the same time frame as a banana skin! 🍌♻️🍃

✅A ban on single-use plastic is a good thing.

‼️ But also banning compostable bio-materials that can reduce our reliance on fossil-fuel plastics, makes no sense at all.

@maxribbs Unfortunately the current text of the legislation does not allow compostable, biodegradable materials to be used - despite Solinatra being 100% natural and fossil free, we are classified as a plastic!
