@hannahspierMD@dysclinic 5/you can’t cure that with CBT. I’ve been treating this patient group and researching LC for 6 years. These patients are DESPERATE to get their health and their lives back. But instead of being met with care and compassion they are met with disbelief and medical gaslighting bc
@SavageCodeTruth@michael_hoerger@tryna_do_rite And of course replies then blocks so we can’t see the reply immediately.
Good job missing the point and considering that post was about you.
This is why l leaders, red or blue, sometimes both sides have motives untrue.
@SavageCodeTruth@michael_hoerger@tryna_do_rite Because no one is doing the right thing?
Not really talking about you as a person saying this.
That is a logical fallacy

Schools offer family holiday, iPads, £100 voucher, and places on GCSE school trips for 100% attendance.
Children with health conditions miss school due to ill health or medical appointments.

Are 100% attendance prizes unfair on kids with health conditions?
@evolutionarypsy I wondered why I’ve never come across that chap before, I blocked him ages ago.
I reckon that I’ve finally developed good taste. Just wish I didn’t forget so easily.
Sadly, it is a cruel world — but if we don’t fight for better, then we, too, are cruel.
I care for a young family member disabled by this virus and I’ve lost count of the friends and family members who urge me to give up, travel, start enjoying my life. They’re happy in their denial, but I consider them cruel.
And sometimes, it’s really just ok not to be polite when people downplay a disease that, while perhaps invisible on the outside (or undetectable by modern tech to date, yet triangulated from multiple forms of evidence), is killing people on the inside.
It’s ok to fight for one’s life with words when everyone else is doing their absolute hardest to eliminate it from public acknowledgement and discourse.
@1goodtern
It seems you are one of the “biggest perpetrators of an extreme doomer mentality around Covid.”
It’s almost as if negative thinking got me so ill, twice.
Maybe I should be ‘positive’ like sars cov 2 is a positive sense RNA virus & I wouldn’t have become so ill.
@trishorwen Social media has done humanity a service by unmasking Homo sapiens’ cruelty towards their own and the rest of the natural world.
It was always thus, people wearing a superficial politeness & varying political garb, but underneath?
Corrupt, venal and of course cruel with it.
