I've been on the @roblox platform for 15 years creating classic clothing & deving
During that time I have endured repeated theft of my items, watching others profit from my work and losing tens of thousands of irl $ income
This has caused me severe emotional & physical distress
I (and others) have been constantly ignored even after repeatedly complaining & offering roblox multiple viable solutions to this issue over the years
Moderation was in fact decreased and was automated rather than strengthened
They said it wouldnt happen with the 3D catalog - yet here we are and theft is still rampant across both 2D & 3D items
Punishing 2D clothing creators is NOT the way to fix this problem
Bad actors must be stopped but NOT like this

Roblox FINALLY listened to the community...
To Upload an Avatar Item:
>Verification: Requires ID verification
>Cost: 80 Robux per item
To Publish an Avatar Item for Sale:
>Verification: Requires ID verification
>Roblox Plus Subscription
2D Clothing: kept at 10 Robux (instead of 600)
So Roblox just reduce the fees cost from 800 to 90.
For 3D items, dropped from 300 → 80 Robux,
Roblox is coooking again....
After community feedback, Roblox will be lowering the upload fee for both 2D and 3D clothing to R$80. The publishing advance for 2D clothing will also be lowered to R$10.

Roblox is making it way harder to sell a 2D outfit tomorrow.
A year ago you could publish one for 10 Robux.
Now to actually sell an outfit you need:
>verified age
>parental permission if you're a minor
>a paid Plus or Premium subscription
>200 Robux to upload
>600 Robux to publish
So the price of entry went from 10 to 800 Robux
The cheapest way to make your first Roblox item is about to become a paywall.
You will then receive only 30% OF THE VALUE.
You need to sell about 534 shirts (5 Robux each) to break even on the new 800 Robux entry cost.
Roblox said they wouldn't remove 2D clothing, but they raised the upload fee so much that almost no one uploads it anymore.
This is messed up...
