@JayCLE99@JayAH985@Knower0fBall@MonkeyDGoat0 Visiting teams get an allotment. If you ever get a chance to go to Manchester, you’d know that it truly is a city divided. You’d also know that City are not United’s biggest rivals.
@JayCLE99@JayAH985@Knower0fBall@MonkeyDGoat0 1. If you show up in away colors at the Ethihad and you’re not in the away section you don’t get in.
2. City tickets are cheap. My son and I went. Sat 7 rows from pitch side on the 18. My ticket was $50. Son’s was $30 (kids pay less).
City and USSF are apples and zucchini.
@JayCLE99@JayAH985@Knower0fBall I went to this years Nations League semi and final. Semi was Mexico fans. For all on CP10s whining after Morocco, they all seemed to feed off that atmosphere. Saw Mexico fans don US gear after their 3rd place game (the ones that stayed). Ohio won’t do that.
@JayCLE99@JayAH985@MonkeyDGoat0@Knower0fBall TBF I think “Ohio” is a proxy for “place where white folks turnout in acceptable numbers.” We played a game in sub-zero Minnesota in 2022 WCQ all because we are trying to avoid another Costa Rica game at Red Bull Arena in 2017. Lame.
@JayCLE99@Knower0fBall So what aligns better with “Grow the game”, staying in Ohio, or coming to Phoenix, LA and Dallas to play against and beat your biggest rival in the region? It’s a long game. It is supposed to be hard.
@THEChrisKessell I don’t have a problem with him consulting with someone to help him have that conversation. However, he was named head coach at the Nations League finals. He didn’t coach at all during Gold Cup. WTH has he been doing?!
@scottmaddox44 @chrisp365@THEChrisKessell I was laughing at your response.
At this point it is evident that USSF either:
1. Could not care less about a club like Loyal disappearing.
2. They actually want this to happen.
Their inaction in addressing the volume of turnover in non-MLS clubs does not support another take.
