@JosherSquasher@Quinlot1@Kaylan_TX_ I used that term to describe your accusations towards me based on only knowing my religious/ethnic background—not the Israeli gov. I pointed out your ahistorical claims and how you seem to be hold my ethnic minority status to a different standard than others.
@JosherSquasher@Quinlot1@Kaylan_TX_ If you wanna know my positions: BiBi is a monster and I’ve only voted for Democrats despite knowing hard truths like LBJ turning away the St Louis or Japanese internment camps or Truman dropping fucking Atom💣 on Japan (which we don’t consider a genocide conveniently)
@JosherSquasher@Quinlot1@Kaylan_TX_ No one in this convo is doing that except the people you seem to be hallucinating. You also keep claiming that you can read my mind and ideas I haven’t expressed to you at all.
@JosherSquasher@Quinlot1@Kaylan_TX_ See somehow in your mind you keep trying to engage in the ancient antisemitic practice of blood libel against me. It’s impossible for me not be a baby killer or in favor of a 2 state solution—not to mention Oct 7 isn’t even a terror attacker worth defending in your mind.
@JosherSquasher@Quinlot1@Kaylan_TX_ It’s an antisemitic practice to dismiss the existence of Jews as an ethnicity and deny them the same rights of sovereignty on land they paid, fought and bled for without the same deference you give to the Islamic theocracies that surround tiny Israel.
@ColinTheLefty@Kaylan_TX_@smalls2672 There was no American Conservative Party at the founding when Burke was philosophizing while being against the French and then American revolutions. Some founders expressed some the same principles of classical liberalism
@Kaylan_TX_@ColinTheLefty@smalls2672 I’m not disputing that. You’ret potatoe-ing my potato. They were still under the Dem label so again, I could see with the rise of casual antisemitism on the left, which even Bernie admits to, Jews wouldn’t put it past Dems or another “realignment” to turn on them, driving em away
@JosherSquasher@Quinlot1@Kaylan_TX_ Again, ahistorical. But what’s your point? Are you saying this is why Jews (or Zionists as you’d call them) are no longer welcome in the Democratic Party in 2026?
@JosherSquasher@Quinlot1@Kaylan_TX_ You think? You don’t have to guess you can confirm what you just said is ahistorical and not true. And it wasn’t just labor Zionists, who were basically socialist hippies who purchased desolate land from Arabs, it was also the Jews escaping the holocaust that you guys are mad at.
@ColinTheLefty@Kaylan_TX_@smalls2672 There were no conservatives 250 years ago, what would they be conserving? And here’s more proof of your uneducated worldview.
PS: ive never voted for a republican to save you the typing of personal MAGA attacks
@ColinTheLefty@Kaylan_TX_@smalls2672 The Democratic Party once favored Jim Crow, so don’t mind if Jews get a little nervous when people start telling us what we think based on wearing a Star of David, flying an Israeli flag, or just being “visibly Jewish” which is now apparently dangerous in some parts of the U.S.
@Kaylan_TX_@ColinTheLefty@smalls2672 I don’t know anyone who is rooting for those atrocities. But I know and have seen plenty of innocent folks being harassed for it across the cultural political spectrums. I know you’re awesome, I follow you. But this is a valid issue pushing away historically dem voters and donor
@GazpachoWonton@Kaylan_TX_@smalls2672@DavidMWeissman Anti Zionism doesn’t give anyone the right to act like Nazis which is what is happening. And antisemitism is defined by Jews who don’t have to defend its definition. Just as We don’t tell Black people what is racist or not. These have always been liberal democrat principles.
@ballykeeran59@Kaylan_TX_@smalls2672@DavidMWeissman Very true. It’s been on the rise on college campuses as well. But It’s disingenuous to not admit antisemitism has risen significantly more and faster since Oct 7 2023. There were rallies on Oct 8 supporting Hamas that current Dem candidates in NY attended.
