so... let me get this right: ppl are leaving wattpad because they increased their censorship and are going to ao3 (site that famously has zero censorship) and asking for more censorship... right right
“I didn’t have children because I believed that God didn’t mean for me to have kids so everybody’s kids could be mine, so I could do things like Imagination Library, because if I hadn’t had the freedom to work, I wouldn’t have done all the things I’ve done."
Let’s never forget what Dolly did. She donated $1 m for Covid research, paid for all of her Dollywood employees to go to college, decreased high school drop out rates in her home county, donated books to every kid under 5 there & so much more. Let’s all be more like Dolly💗
Today has been difficult. I never expected to cry over a celebrity’s death, but that assumption rested on the idea that Dolly would always remain. Even without knowing her music, one knew how just wonderful she was. Her voice carried meaning beyond singing. Rest in peace. 💔
@popmusicBP@ellealia3@Iris7459 2) also acting is not about how similar you are to your character. if anything, it's more impressive if you're opposites. like I was so shocked to find out that jonathan bailey is gay after watching bridgerton. no one complained that he's 'straight for pay'? huh?
@popmusicBP@ellealia3@Iris7459 1) well, we'll never truly know a celebrity's sexuality AND it's not our business. by enforcing a rule of matching your character's sexuality we'd be forcing actors to come out to get jobs or queer/straightbait. daniel went through the audition process and ig he was the best fit
@popmusicBP@ellealia3@Iris7459 hey, i'm gen confused. what's the issue with a (i assume) straight actor playing a gay role if they auditioned and were the best fit? it's not like daniel diemer is homophobic or anything (as far as i know). am i missing something? do queer roles only need to go to queer actors?
