A lot of money, and not something I would be able to afford, but I have insurance for my dogs that pays ~90% after deductible, so would make something like that more manageable. And as expensive as it all is, the alternative is not being able to do anything to help our pets

I don't know anyone who has done it, but they apparently do kidney transplants in cats that cost about the same. I thought it was so expensive until I saw what it costs for humans
