@zerohedge 20 yrs now I've been telling people that the US needs more refining capacity. Everybody likes the status quo because they profit on crack spread and expansion doesn't increase the "carbon footprint". Got to be some middle of the road answer, probably never see it my lifetime

@wakeupnj Offshore wind is one of the most expensive forms of electricity generation. Per KWH it's higher than solar and prone to expensive breakdown repairs because it's exposed to salt water all day long. History of Europe none have ever been profitable. would drive NJ costs higher.
