New episode of the podcast is up. This time I steal an old VH1 game show format and my friends Kane, Besty and I try to determine the greatest emo song pre 2002. It’s very important, like all emo should be. https://t.co/3sEw8horAg
@John_Mielke I bought that soundtrack the day I saw the movie. First time I’d ever heard The Flaming Lips, PJ Harvey, Massive Attack, Mazzy Star and Sunny Day Real Estate. Soundtrack definitely better than the movie.
@nerdist I love these movies so much. Prior to these I only knew Rob Brydon as a guy who guests on Graham Norton sometimes... because I was a foolish American.
@CorbinReiff I have tickets to The Frames reunion show in NYC in September, which will hopefully be rescheduled. Frames era is my favorite Glen Hansard era.
just closing the loop on my u2 nerd-rant last night.
people hate on bono A LOT...
but that guy fucking BELIEVED the shit he sang on those records. BELIEVED IT TO HIS CORE. music as unity... music as God... and u can FEEL it in those songs... & that is a rare, beautiful thing.
@John_Mielke Yeah, it’s leaps and bounds the best Brosnan. The score is really good, pretty 90’s. The World Is Not Enough has my favorite theme song of them though.
