@GWRHelp Hello! I haven't been able to get on my advanced train to Paddington due to overcrowding. My reservation was from Exeter at 14.16, but had tried to get on early at Newton Abbot.
Can I check I'll be allowed on the 15.16 from Exeter to Paddington with no extra charge?
@TicketmasterCS hey team, trying to get tickets for biffy clyro at Finsbury but the website tells me my browsing has been suspended due to unusual behaviour - any ideas how I can resolve?
@JamesRCowling@ConHome Interesting James - agree governing (and adjacent) MPs shouldn't focus on localism as they have national, and explicitly not local, power. Is this a broad problem amongst CONs? From my PoV, lack of bold vision (may stem from local navel gazing) is the issue haunting both parties.
@OfficialPVFC@TheTilehurstEnd@ReadingFC In a social media era of forced rivalries, the slightly random (by virtue of last season's fixture computer) nature of Reading and Vale having a really warming connection is a wonderful tonic ๐๐ค
We never wanted to exist and now weโre happy to go out of existence โ but we donโt want Reading fans to forget what we all achieved together.
We threw tennis balls, we showed red cards, we got a game abandoned, we lobbied outside Parliament, we marched through the streets of Reading for the first time since 1983. We engaged politicians, we enlisted the support of some of the biggest names in football for our cause, we made sure Reading never left the spotlight.
Well done to ALL #readingfc fans.
@Mcc1189@GWRHelp Correct, after GWR *earlier today* said the mainline to Penzance was clear I secretly "knew" that this was going to happen.
Train companies routinely book cabs and coaches when trains get cancelled in poor weather with no onward travel - I was surprised GWR were not.
@GWRHelp what is the rationale for not putting on any bus or onward non-rail transport from Plymouth when you cancel the train mid-journey and effectively leave people in some town 1h30m from wherever they need to be?
@GWRHelp I appreciate that, but to not do anything for stranded customers is pretty poor form - it's not like this was unforseen. People are going to have to, at significant cost, sort out their own onward travel rather than have GWR just put on two coaches.
