Rainfall and planting issues matter, sure but sugarcane acreage still rose this year despite the monsoon deficit.

The real squeeze came from diverting 2.4–3.4 million tonnes into ethanol for the E20 push, which left stocks so tight we’re importing sugar after a decade. Without that diversion the same weather would’ve given us enough domestic supply.

Blaming only the rain while ignoring the policy choice is pure selective reasoning - the exact “smart policy” that ends up making common people pay more.

This is what they call a smart policy.

The SUGAR SCAM!

Bharat was a major exporter of SUGAR. Then Sugar Cane was diverted for Ethanol creating a shortage. BETAs of NETAS got PSU banks loans for their Ethanol distilleries & a forced market was created for the Ethanol they produced with our Sugarcane and our money !

That market for their overpriced Ethanol is our vehicles: totally totally s crewing our vehicles & denying us a choice.

Prior to this rubbish policy being implemented, Sugar Daddy sold a dream...he promised : incase Ethanol blended petrol becomes a reality, we would get Petrol for about ₹15/ litre.

None of that BS happend ! He lied and mislead courts as well :

But what did happen is the following:

* BETAS of NETAS became rich!

* our vehicles are ruined!

* FCUK Petrol at ₹15, it has become more expensive despite Ethanol!

* Sugar prices hit the roof !

* Sugar Exports were stopped ! And now

The Govt has allowd One Million Tonnes of Raw Sugar Imports At Nil Duty Until Oct 31.

If we pay Global Standard Taxes
Do we have Global Standard facilities ?
Overall our Public Schools, roads, breathing air and drinking water ? States need to answer this.

Personal Income Tax, GST, Tolls, Cess, Fuel Taxes, Local Taxes..

I don’t object to contributing . But after everything I contribute, what am I getting back?

Why can’t India’s middle class get the Singapore deal as a starter— lower taxes, better roads, better transport, better civic infrastructure and greater accountability for every rupee it pays from every authority that extracts a tax in one or other form.
