Do not agree at all. Every where in most WA groups, one guy or the other brings out this whole inverted argument and a fallacy that AI is going to destroy jobs, take away careers etc. Instead of finding ways to create jobs, for people to be self sufficient, children to go to schools and pray that families stay happy, here we are with ace Directors like you talking let the wold end, kids stop educating, no jobs, no life etc. If I go to a hospital for a treatment will AI sit there and listen to my issues. Can it understand the pain, emotion of the patients turmoil, agony. AI can give solutions to our prompts. It is not going to recognise the effects of diagnosis on patient well being. To the world I say education is must, we all need jobs to live and keep busy. AI is just going to make it more productive and is an effective tool.
Muthu In the book am working on titled The Indian Dream, one of the themes is about Corruption in India. It is institutionalised and cancerous. If you see the developed countries the mid and lower level corruption is negligible and does not affect the common man living unlike here. We all have to ask one Q, Why the nation remains so corrupt? The moral compass of Indians is falling lower and lower. We pray to God but in living but do not follow the principles. Only solution is the system has to become so tough that people will be left with no choice but to become moral and ethical. What are the system changes reqd:
1. Start with institutionally corrupt orgs viz., Income tax, GST, Customs etc. The top people actions have to be closely monitored and make them accountable
2. There should be 360 degree accountability which means sitting Ministers, Bureaucrats have to be pulled up and made to resign permanently if needed.
3. The genesis of corruption is the money spent in elections. Minister says I spent this much to win, let me recover it. He gives illegal contracts, or takes bribes for Govt postings. Contractor recovers it from billings or inflates it in project costs. In govt postings, people pay bribes to get the role but recovers it from doing services, hiring etc. he says I paid huge bribe for this post, need to recover it?
Ultimately the hole created by these bribes gets filled up. It becomes a vicious circle and a giant serpent which is what we see today in the name of recovery. If there is focus on this issue, it will get resolved. We can discuss it if needed, but it’s a big issue not possible to write about in a post.
@dmuthuk Muthu The Q should be does this Govt have a strong team of Economists? Do they listen to expert views? One guy who can give a solution is Raghuram Rajan, but he has become unnecessarily too critical of this regime, though a brilliant mind
The same Indian prays at temple, defends what is wrong in what she did, give bribe and get away in India. We are under false impression created by our Govt that world is thinking of us as role model. What standards are we setting for it. India in 1980 and 1990’s wasn’t like this. We are deteriorating
@pbhushan1 By the way if anyone has an iota of knowledge of Indian partition and what happened, this religious differences were always there. It got certified by Center mixing Church and State
The death of a young married woman soon to deliver a baby in Noida has shocked the country. What really happened we will know after the investigation. But there are few things Women and Girls to be married should know from this:
-No Marriage is better than Bad Marriage if it gets abusive especially physical and profane
-Love is not what you get in the beginning but what you give and feel in the end of your journey. What you think as love in the beginning is only infatuation. This is one of my collection of stories to be released
-Marriage is everything for a Woman and sometimes make or break. It should not be. Think of it as a phase of our journey. We come into this world alone, make connects to keep us happy. If relationships don’t last, one can always make new ones.
-Woman should seek happiness and not get too worried by the banalities of Life. The ordeal is unending. Don’t seek pain,, seek joy.
RIP to a Daughter of our Country. Sad. Let justice prevail
@SuvenduWB Nice to know Mr. CM. West Bengal needs job, jobs and hardworking people. Team them hard work and create jobs. Surprising when most entrepreneurs are from this place, there are no industries there. They all flocked to Mumbai
Hope you are aware DMK is an Atheist party. In 1971 at a rally in Salem, EV Ramaswamy (Periyar) the founder garlanded shamefully Lord Ram with slippers. It’s a party with no respect for anyone’s faith. A communist ideology front. The problem in India is politicians are totally unchecked and unaccountable. If a common man says he would be thrashed, but will Stalin son be? A land where great saints Shankaracharya and Ramanujam were born, his words shows arrogance that comes with ignorance. Sad state of affairs.
Kapil Sir What was Didi’s contribution to Bengal development. Atleast three notable points be stated. I cannot think one, except fighting her own administration and blaming Modiji. This is the same mistake AAP did. Focus on jobs, industry growth, reduce corruption, develop systems for better governance. Can’t a state be run like a successful organisation? She lost due to influx of Bangladeshis and perception what matters in public life. She was seen more on the streets than in her office. I respect her for bringing down the communist terror regime, but the fighter never could become administrator. It is two diff qualities infact. She should have given CM post to some one else and be the Party leader
Zeba No. Absolutely not. The rise of BJP is due to relatively better governance than what Congress can offer, restoring the Hindu pride which somewhere people felt was taken away by previous parties, the past terrorist attacks including 26/11 which shook this country. This Country always had the religious friction since Mughal Invasion. Read the pre independence movement leading to partition, the undercurrents always remained. Hindutva was coined by Mr.Savarkar and it is their core RSS Ideology. But RSS has also done many humanitarian activities (I saw them personally in the Bhuj earthquake). They always have used this card for Votes, difference is they are in many states now due to a strong leader who connects well with masses. Some sectors they really opened up well like defence, renewables etc. but some areas like strengthening institutions, taking public feedback/criticism, reducing corruption etc could have done far better. Infact wrt corruption, given the majority they had could have brought in tougher laws. But it’s a force to reckon with and opposition is too weak. It’s the opposition I think which needs to come up the curve and focus on development. It remains a secular country but with over arching theme of Hindu pride but not pulling down any other religion. At core people do respect each other faiths as long it does not cross each other paths. This Country belongs to all of us. Stay Happy.
Indian stock market are liquidity driven rallies. It does not follow any fundamental data of Inflation, IIP, Unemployment, Tech Innovation, Rate decisions etc. in US NFP, ADP data, Fed rate decisions, Corporate innovation announcements etc matter so much. Our rallies are purely MF SIP driven and my argument is our stock market is not a reflection of the real Indian economy. The IT job losses, Corruption leading to high txn costs, Difficulty in getting credit, doing business etc. let’s look at Banking stocks. When deposits are so hard to get for them and with such high C-D ration, how is Bank nifty not reacting to this data. Corporate credit growth is single digits and if you take out lending to large businesses it is abysmal. Banks are just doing personal, home loans
