@SecScottBessent “open source is not open season on American IP”
So closed source is? Where the fuck do you think frontier labs get their training data in the first place?
I built pairputer on AWS: run a Linux desktop that you & an AI share, streamed into ChatGPT, Claude, or Codex.
You drive the machine, the AI drives the same machine, same screen.
1-click deploy into your own AWS account.
Open source (MIT).

I used @turbopuffer on a big project recently and loved the performance + pricing. Massive kudos to @Sirupsen & team
So I built a @steampipe plugin that turns its API into SQL tables, for querying and security dashboards with my existing tooling.
Now live on the Steampipe Hub 👇

@arix_world@pedrouid distillation hits every frontier model equally. if that were the trigger, Opus 4.8 and GPT-5.5-high would be gated too. they aren't.
what got pulled is cyber capability over a threshold, not distillability. the real fight is who decides where that line sits, & how.
I keep seeing this same mentality play out.
It sounds good in theory.
C-suite buys-in on the cheap & quick POC. It isn’t architected to scale. That POC becomes Prod & PMs & leadership are pissed that the $$ burn on tokens, guardrails, security, new tools are eating into margins = rip & replace
