I recently discovered #medtwitter & realized that Twitter is a good social media platform for my med library. TweetReach seems like a good analytics tool to start with and Wiselytics (currently in beta for Twitter) is a tool to keep an eye on for future use. #INFO246w719

@Bobbiknotts_ I agree—it should be the patron’s choice. I prefer opt-in over opt-out as it would better protect privacy I think.

Reliable usage data allows libraries to end little-used/unused subscriptions thus allowing $$ from limited budgets to be targeted to adding to and maintaining a collection that truly meets the user community’s needs. #INFO246w75

@theonlynamo Hi Nabilla! I did not know that ‘hella’ originated in Oakland. I live in Palo alto and go to Oakland often. I’ve enjoyed hikes in Sibley w/ my dog and the vegan options in Oakland are amazing! I know a bit about the local Black Panther history but definitely need to learn more.
