LIC of India , which is custodian of money of lakhs of policy holders and shareholders owns 10.80 % in #RajeshExports , the fraud company of fraudster Rajesh Mehta which accounted for bogus turnover and eventually will now become junk costing nearly 1500 Crores to other shareholders

I have filed #RTI with #LIC for sharing investment details, authority which takes those decisions, losses incurred on it, they have declined to provide the details with following rebuttal.

Affairs of LIC, which is a govt company are carried in a very suspicious way by the management, they are accountable for disclosures but are running away from it.

There are many such companies in which LIC has invested and they have gone bankrupt, but because of non-disclosure of information by LIC, we don't know the quantum of that amount and loss because of investment turning out to be junk.

PMO needs to take this important matter seriousl.

Big Breaking

There is a reduction of 19 lakh #Incometax returns this year because of too many glitches on #Incometax portal.

As per screenshot just now from @IncomeTaxIndia Efiling webiste 7.09 Crore #Incometax returns were filed till due date of 15th September 2025 which was extended from 31st July 2025 by them as portal was not ready with new forms and efiling utilities.

Last year 7.28 Crore #Incometax returns were filed till 31st July 2024, the due date with a growth rate of 7.55% . This means if we consider it to be a benchmark this year, then this year 7.82 Crore ITRs should have been filed by the due date. Thus overall there is a reduction of 73 lakh ITRs. (Approx 10% less)

Major concern is the dept has tweeted yesterday at 12.13 AM that a record 7.3 crore+ ITRs have been filed till 15th Sept 2025, surpassing last year’s 7.28 crore. However updated 7.09 Crore ITRs were filed on website just now.

So which data is wrong and misleading ? The website which is showing 7.09 Crores and is updated today morning which is done regularly by dept, or the tweet which claimed 7.30 Crores.

This needs a proper investingation @PMOIndia @nsitharaman @nsitharamanoffc .

21 year old from Mumbai Loses 3.60 Crores to share trading cyber scam.

Given the substantial economic stakes and the rapid increase in cybercrime losses, it is imperative for the government to focus on curbing this growing menace. Enhancing efforts to combat cybercrime is essential, as such scams negatively impact investor confidence and economic stability.

Citizens also need to be vigilant and should keep away from greed and fear.

Sir, As a CA and Minister you very well know ICAI functions under the administrative control of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. The ICAI is the largest professional body of Chartered Accountants in the world, with a strong tradition of service to the Indian economy in public interest. There are 8 nominated central council members directly by Govt of India who are also part of disciplinary directorate and various committees of ICAI. The Code of conduct which regulates the CA Profession is robust, well documented, transparent, and most of the disciplinary actions comes under purview of action by High court thereby ensuring accountability, independence, objectivity of the members.

Sir, there are some observations on view of your government regarding CA fraternity and ICAI which have come to light in last 7-8 years which are discussed many times in fraternity and I wish to put forward with you as a Co professional brother for betterment of all stakeholders. I Request your consideration and expect a reply from you on the same, Also request how you are going to address when your party forms govt again and you become a Minister (You are my personal choice for Finance Minister of India).

Sir, in the last few years, we are seeing that our noble profession has been continuously targeted by few of those in governance and administration.

In the last 10 years, practice opportunities have been reduced, GST, Bank audit has been abolished/ reduced which is risking the tax as well as banking prudence and exposing it to frauds and wrongdoings in the absence of independent audit.

CAs are being soft target all over the country many a times, wrong doers are given safe passage and CAs are jailed by administrators of Tax laws, we never saw Dharnas and agitations by fraternity earlier.

Sir , if educated, organized, gazette professionals which are governed by act of parliament like us are treated like this, then we need to realise what is situation of unorganised taxpayers who are helping the country via contributing taxes.

To achieve dream of #Vikasitbhart ICAI needs to be strengthened and taken into confidence as you can see the legacy which helped India to this place of a 4 Trillion Dollar economy.

I request you to kindly assure us that when your party comes to power again, you will pass a CA Protection bill , increase avenues for practicing members so that GDP growth is achieved faster, more tax collection is done via introduction of new tax payers in the system.
I am sure you will consider this update in good spirit and help strengthening the bridge between our fraternity and govt to make India a superpower.
