@BartertownC If you're ref to the AGP, I applied, they didn't respond yet, would have liked to get more $S posting about my smol bags, that's what I do. Wonder why it's not looking better than ever at this valuation with what they are trying to do.
Muttski started with a simple idea back on Fantom: build the first Telegram bot for the chain at a time when none existed. It may not sound like a big deal now, but back then users had very few safe options and bad actors were taking advantage. A few friends decided to build something better, and that became Muttski.
We grew into one of the most used on-chain tools with one clear priority: keep fees low and fair. Our 0.1% fee was among the best in the market, and everything was built from scratch by a small team learning while shipping. We are incredibly grateful for the support the community gave us along the way.
To support a cost-heavy product, Muttski launched with a taxed token. Those taxes were fully used for buybacks, liquidity, infra, marketing, and direct community incentives. Over time, we distributed more than $30K back to holders through revenue sharing, buybacks, and bribe incentives. We also pushed meme marketing to levels never seen on Fantom before, from SpaceX billboards to Times Square appearances.
It’s important for us to say this clearly: apart from a moderator, no one on the team ever took fees, salaries, or token allocations. Not developers. Not core team. Everything was done out of passion for building.
During the migration to Sonic, we held enough treasury in $S to support years of infrastructure costs. At the community’s request, and to align with mememania standards, we moved to a tax-free token. We believed deeply in Sonic’s growth and kept our treasury in $S accordingly.
Unfortunately, market conditions changed. The value of our treasury declined significantly, trading activity dropped, and revenues turned negative. For months we continued operations using treasury funds and later even personal funds to keep everything running. We also worked on NFT utilities and new tools, but chose not to push a mint that felt like a cash grab without strong market support.
We stayed hopeful for as long as possible, but we have now reached a point where even infrastructure costs can no longer be sustained. We explored grant support as well, but it did not work out in time.
Because user safety is our highest priority, and considering the sensitivity of funds held through Muttski services, we must announce that MuttskiBot, Muttski BuyBot, and Muttski Wallet Trackerbot will halt operations on March 5th.
This is hopefully temporary, not the end. Until then, we strongly encourage all users to secure their private keys and move funds to wallets fully under their control.
And just to be clear, until then $WOOF remains a meme token as intended, and all LPs and the token itself will continue to function normally.
Thank you for believing in us, building with us, and letting a small passionate team create something meaningful.
