@daisychristo Is it the fact that we have improved (not so re: Gov report) or that other countries have gone down due to sampling during COVID impact (as so re: Gov report). The future reports will show our true data trends and clarify the impact of our educational policies.
This is utter nonsense. I’m a year 6 teacher. Secondaries ask for if they’re at age related only; they are not privy to the gap analysis that could be gained from the SATs. They find that out for themselves from their own assessments. Public misinformation @educationgovuk
SATs play a key role in helping to identify pupils’ strengths or where they may have fallen behind as they head to secondary school.
Here's everything parents need to know about SATs, including how we develop the tests and why they're important ⬇️

I enjoyed the show (online) of Ruby and Burnt Out in Biscuitland #BOBL - very thought provoking, particularly comparing COVID times to before/after COVID times. A great show to see. @bridspa
Was the pay offer fully funded? I understood from the news and my head it wasn’t. Here it says it was. What are the facts? Please help me understand. @NEUnion@educationgovuk

@FloraSCooper Please change the system to where OFSTED are required to support schools and ensure that the staff and pupils are cared for, provided for and succeed, and that OFSTED carry the can if they don’t. Surely this is not too Sci Fi? 👍🙏 Thank you for taking a stand.
Teacher “disappointed” by continual underfunding of essential services by government and reckless handling of the economy causing unnecessary additional hardship to millions across the UK. But seemingly from the actions of many in government, this doesn’t seem to matter to them.
I am amazed how quickly and eagerly many of our pupils can now name various species of trees. The first step to conservation is when nature comes into view and starts to become personal to you. 🙂🌳👍
Year 4s went out to identify trees and seeds. They were fascinated by how some travelled, such as the ‘helicopter’ sycamore seeds. They also found English oak, Italian alder, ash, silver birch, holly and field maple. @TheTreeCouncil@MoorTrees@YorksWildlife#ForceForNature
@DeputyGrocott It was a photo - background taken out - messed about with on an iPhone and then a PC with tints etc. - then adjusted photocopier brightness for final effect - then cut up and coded carefully. Apart from the last bit, it was mostly adjusted as I went along. Effective though. 🙂
