1) When civilizational threat to us vanishes.
2) There's a better alternative to BJP.
3) BJP becomes incapable.

To me a dehati is not someone who wears a dhoti and a pagadi, or doesn't know which hand to hold the fork and knife.

It is the urban dehati who cannot wait for people to come out of a lift before barging in.

Who pushes to get into a metro, rather than waiting for people to disembark.

Who tailgates with an SUV honking the horn, when there is no where to go, because we are all in the same traffic.

Who screams at "servants" because they are "low" since they don't speak English.

Who will cut in front of a line, because they're the only one entitled not to wait.

Who will litter out of the car window, then complain about the garbage on the streets.

These are the urban dehatis. What else do they do?

I made a payment on a fraudulent website a few days ago using my ICICI credit card. About 4–5 hours later, I realized that the website was a scam and immediately contacted my bank’s customer service.

They blocked my card, raised a ticket, and instructed me to call 1930, report the incident to Cybercrime, and share the acknowledgement ID with the bank once I received it, along with the required form.

The 1930 service is so pathetic that I had to call again and again. They would answer only after 5–7 attempts.

Even after reporting the incident and sending all the required details on WhatsApp, they didn’t raise a single case.

Three days passed. I didn’t submit the form at the bank branch because I still hadn’t received any acknowledgement ID from Cybercrime.

Then, on the 4th day after the incident, ICICI automatically issued a permanent chargeback in my favour.
