I appreciate all the feedback (including the challenges) to the work I'm doing with @goranhenriks & others around how we enable deep, profound change as well as continuous incremental change. So it was great to read this thought provoking piece by @sonjabl which compares our emerging themes with her approach called "Waysfinding". We need this new thinking and practice because many of our current approaches to change aren't fast or deep enough: https://t.co/rIuAMYu9qP
We demonize complexity when we make it synonymous with "problem".
We know that not all problems are complex, but we need a reminder that complexity is not always a problem.
Complexity isn’t good or bad, it just is. Opportunity also lies within the complexity.
Complexity brings beauty & nuance to our art & stories ...
Complexity enlivens relationships & conversations ...
Complexity powers the rich, interconnected web of life ...
Life without complexity would not be worth living. In fact, without it, life as we know it couldn't exist.
"If you’re just thinking and not actually moving, you’re not waysfinding yet…
Whenever we take a step, our situation changes."

@Wise I used to recommend you to friends and colleagues, but in the last few weeks your support service has been absolutely shocking, so no more. I've been unable to access my account for 2 weeks. Calls/emails have been ineffective, hoping this post will trigger positive action.
'The difficulty of complex thought is that it must face messes … interconnectedness among phe- nomena, fogginess, uncertainty, contradiction. (Edgar Morin, On Complexity, 2008: 6)'

“Embracing messy coherence requires us to let go of long-held assumptions of a world where stability, certainty and predictability are the norm. In this world, we were taught to use linear, deterministic management methods and tools and also…” — @sonjabl https://t.co/rSC9icg9Bi
@chmascarin@PaulJocelyn I believe many leaders are stuck in systems that keep these priorities and ways of leading in place, and many are ‘sad’ as you put it. So these would need to change to enable your ‘what if’.
