Seeking a Solution to Mobile & Internet Connectivity Issues for the neighbourhood residents of Parappana Agrahara Central Prison

I met Shri Amit Agarwal, Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, and brought to his attention the serious disruption of mobile communication and internet services in the areas surrounding Parappana Agrahara Central Prison due to the installation of the Tower-Harmonious Call Blocking System (T-HCBS) and high-frequency Wi-Fi jammers.

Residents in the vicinity are facing considerable difficulties in their daily lives. The disruption has become particularly challenging during medical emergencies, for students attending online classes, and for employees working from home. The proximity of Electronic City, a major corporate hub, makes reliable connectivity even more essential for many residents and professionals in the area.

While prison security and preventing unauthorised communication by inmates are of utmost importance, it is equally necessary to ensure that legitimate communication needs of the surrounding residents are not adversely affected.

I requested Shri Amit Agarwal to look into the matter and explore a suitable technical solution that safeguards prison security while restoring reliable mobile and internet connectivity for the local community.

Shri Amit Agarwal responded positively and directed the concerned officials to examine the issue and take necessary steps to resolve it at the earliest.

I will continue to follow up on the matter to ensure that the residents of the surrounding areas do not face unnecessary hardship in their day-to-day communication.

I don’t have an issue if Mahua Moitra drinks or smokes. I don’t even care who she tried to excite or seduce when giving crazy kisses to her pet in a viral video. Those are her personal choices. Moreover, morality is subjective and varies culturally. However, as a citizen, I do have an objection with her trading her parliamentary login with an outsider to ask questions. This cash for query is corruption and selling one’s ethics and values for money. And no amount of her frantically pacing or addressing the media is going to help her.

She is observably arrogant, in words as well as her gait and body language, she has been unnecessarily aggressive and loud even inside the Parliament and has not shown any regard for the code of conduct there. Some people consider her reckless behaviour as bravado. What such people and she included forget is that a place like the Parliament house has its rules and maintaining decorum is the least that’s expected from the members.

What she fails to realise is that screaming and using filthy language in a parliament session is not a sign of bravery or modernity. It simply means that the person is uncouth and foolish with no regard for their own position. No matter how “modern” one becomes, one will never copulate in front of one’s parents unless s/he is deranged! Well, being a parliamentarian, she failed at many levels and her expulsion from Parliament is a brilliant move. People like her are a disgrace to this country and a menace in parliament proceedings.

The Adheenam Heads from Tamil Nadu attended the inaugural event yesterday for presenting the Sengol to Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji at the ceremony where Tamil chants & Tamil hymns were recited.

In 1947, also one Adheenam handed over the Sengol to PM Nehru. Yesterday pontiffs from 21 Adheenams (Mutts) of Tamil Nadu were present to grace the momentous occasion.

The Sengol, was then rightfully placed by Hon'ble PM himself in the new Parliament building, near the Lok Sabha Speaker's Chair, affirming that sovereignty abides in the people of India, which is represented in the Lok Sabha & that's why it is called the House of the People.

I would like to remind our CM that, a 'Sarva Dharma Prarthana' ceremony was held during the new Parliament building inauguration. Religious Leaders of 12 Faiths participated.

I haven't come across any tweets of her, praising such a Secular ceremony.

It's disappointing that she is the CM of a State where one of the greatest Saints ever; Swami Vivekananda was born.
