PLive Card of the Day Number 44: A 2023 Bowman Draft 1st Auto Green Lava Refractor /99 of Joe Whitman
Perhaps the most improved arm in San Francisco's system so far in 2026, Whitman has looked the part of a big league starter this year. The lefty from Kent State is in his fourth season in the Giants farm, and has upped his K rate by nearly seven percent (24.2% -> 31.8%) from last year, en route to a 2.88 ERA and a 2.42 FIP.
Given his recent promotion to Triple-A, could Whitman be a fantasy sleeper in deep leagues after the All-Star break?
PLive Card of the Day Number 43:
A 2026 Bowman Chrome Gold Shimmer Refractor /50 of Xavier Neyens
Widely regarded as the prep hitter with the most raw power in last summer's MLB draft, Neyens has shown it off this season, racking up eight home runs in his first 45 games in Single-A. Astros fans will be hoping to see him crush baseballs into the Crawford Boxes a couple of years from now ☄️
Who should Houston take with pick 17 in this year's draft?
The @Rockies have called up their No. 6 prospect, Cole Carrigg, for what would be his MLB debut.
Carrigg is slashing .338/.414/.529 with 30 stolen bases at Triple-A this season: https://t.co/NHH9FHumJz
There's no denying the tools Montgomery possesses but it will be interesting to see if he can hit enough to keep performing at the next level. Regardless, this is a very exciting callup for a team that is getting more and more exciting every day

PLive Card of the Day Number 39:
A 2025 Bowman Chrome Green Reptilian Auto /99 of Sebastian Walcott
Coming off of a solid season in which he hit 13 home runs and stole 32 bases as a 19-year-old in Double-A, Walcott unfortunately needed an internal brace surgery for a torn UCL in his throwing arm back in February. A late-season return has not been ruled out for the talented shortstop, but he will likely need to wait until 2027 to make his MLB debut
Will Walcott become the next face of the franchise for the Rangers?
PLive Card of the Day Number 38:
A 2026 Bowman Chrome Snack Pack Bubble Gum Refractor of Josue De Paula
JDP is coming off an electric month of May at the plate, in which he posted a 1.060 OPS, hit six home runs and stole seven bases. Upping his swing rate by just over seven percent has worked wonders for the toolsy outfielder, who is pushing to be considered a top-five prospect in baseball 💫
How soon could we see De Paula make his MLB debut for Los Angeles?
Groover may not be a major contributor in the counting stats department (3 HR/2 SB in 56 AAA games this year) but he should be a steady ratio presence (.322/.421/.452 in AAA) and could be a true asset in points leagues (16.8% K%/14.5% BB%)
I'm very excited to announce that you'll be seeing a lot more from me in these parts as the Director of MLB Content @ProspectsLive. It's an amazing team and something I'm very excited to be a part of.
With that said, I'm looking for more talented contributors to join me and also if there's something you'd like to see from an MLB content perspective, I'd be interested to hear it.
There's more exciting things in the pipeline.
PLive Card of the Day Number 36:
A 2026 Bowman Chrome Mega Box Mojo Refractor Auto of Cristian Arguelles
After demolishing the DSL (201 wRC+) in his second year at the level in 2025, Arguelles has carried that momentum over into his stateside debut season. In his first 23 games at the Complex, the outfielder has posted a .359/.474/.667 slash line with four home runs already 🏔️
Stay tuned for a deeper dive into Arguelles as a dynasty prospect in an article coming later this week!
@tusupiste007 The Giants are a nice set landing spot so if this is true then yeah I’d give him a shot
However, I say “if this is true” because there doesn’t seem to be anyone else reporting on this so I might wait until we get confirmation before acting on it
I recommended Hardin last April
I certainly didn’t see this kind of an ascent coming and I’m honestly not sure he has the stuff to find consistent success in the big leagues, but I think he can be a decent streaming option and wouldn’t put it past MIL to get more out of him
