@gabby_on_E@despair It is certainly possible but can be difficult in many cases. They added DOTS for a reason, to make Unity code optimisable. GC spikes were a major problem for many games in the engine 10+ years ago, and they still are depending on what you're doing.
@poetengineer__@andy_matuschak Yep, interacting with the software is the point. Imo that’s the whole appeal of working in games as a programmer. The craft of making software is well alive, because the software interaction actually matters, rather than merely being a way to deliver the user their requested data
@UV_Games_Roblox@stickyfr0gg Yep, that's how it works. Sorry for the confusion, we're gonna focus more on teaching this to the player, and making the beginning levels easier overall to help ease people into the game.
