Visited the @IITBhubaneswar Research and Entrepreneurship Park, an emerging hub of innovation in Odisha. The park is fostering startups in critical sectors such as healthcare, education, green energy and agritech, with notable projects like millet-based products and advanced drone technologies. The initiative envisions incubating 100 startups, each with a valuation of ₹100 crore by 2036, reinforcing India’s goal of building a self-reliant economy.

Also, toured the Silicon Carbide Research Innovation Centre (SiCRIC). Such initiatives are instrumental in positioning Odisha as a dynamic center for entrepreneurship and cutting-edge research.

A high-level committee chaired by Dr. K. Radhakrishnan, Former Chairman of ISRO, was constituted on June 22, 2024.

Comprising members from government organizations, academia, and higher educational institutions, the committee aims to recommend reforms in the examination process, enhance data security protocols, and review the structure and operations of the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The committee is seeking suggestions, views, and ideas from stakeholders, particularly students and parents, from June 27 to July 7, 2024.
