Absolutely incredible.
In an unprecedented move, South Korea's stock market just collapsed -44% in 40 days, erasing -$2 trillion in market cap.
Now, South Korea's finance ministry has announced plans to "stabilize" the market.
What is happening? Let us explain.

A sad day but few care, especially the British right obsessed by the ECHR and its faux threats to British sovereignty. Today we lost ITV to US media group Comcast and EasyJet to US private credit company, Castlelake. Britain is ever more a vassal economy in thrall to the USA.

I have huge respect for Pierre. While I’m an optimist by instinct, I’ll take the disciplined thinking and realism of analysts like Pierre over the hockey-stick dreamers any day. We’re at a stage in the industry where truth-seekers do far more good than the hype-cycle crowd.
Pierre Lionnet and Tim Farrar can be cranky but you know they’re truth seeking and do not play favorites. Spend the time watching history repeat itself enough, and you might wind up a little less accommodating, too.

Proving critical space-based voice & data communications between pilots and air traffic controllers is no easy task. In preparation, Startical's IOD.2 satellite went through a lot in the last few weeks:
— Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing
— Vibration testing
— Thermal Vacuum testing
— Payload antenna & solar panel deployments and more
In just over a year since project kick-off, IOD.2 is nearly ready for launch, with just a final round of functional testing remaining, thanks to the efficient collaboration between our customers and partners from Startical, @IndraCompany, @ENAIRE, @OxfordSpace, @intaespana, and others.
Soon, IOD.2 will head out for its mid-year launch as a pathfinder for Startical's planned 288-satellite air traffic management and ADS-B surveillance constellation.
Our MP42 microsatellite bus continues to set the standard as an effective platform for demanding missions requiring high performance and agile program execution for commercial and governmental customers in communication, Earth observation, and remote sensing.

Introducing Willow, our new state-of-the-art quantum computing chip with a breakthrough that can reduce errors exponentially as we scale up using more qubits, cracking a 30-year challenge in the field. In benchmark tests, Willow solved a standard computation in <5 mins that would take a leading supercomputer over 10^25 years, far beyond the age of the universe(!).
🇪🇺 The most depressing European chart ever: long-term growth expectations are down to a all-time low of less than 1.3%.
Draghi: "Europe faces a choice between paralysis, exit or integration. Exit has been tried. Paralysis is becoming untenable. Integration is our only hope left."

News: @Axiom_Space Facing Financial Headwinds
• "The lack of fresh capital has exacerbated long-standing financial challenges that have grown alongside Axiom’s payroll, which earlier this year was nearly 1,000 employees.”

Draghi suggests avoiding black-and-white industrial policy solutions. He rejects the temptation to emulate the US approach of systematically shutting out Chinese clean tech, and suggests to deploy smart and technology-specific green industrial policies.
