Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and those opinions can be right or wrong. We have fundamentally different views on government policies and other important issues.
@Shakurshire101 believes that the Somaliland National Defence Forces and the entire Somaliland government should be prosecuted over the war in Las Anod. I, Malool, and many others believe that anyone who attacks the Somaliland National Defence Forces should be prosecuted.
What should the military do when its bases are attacked? They have a duty to defend themselves and defend Somaliland.

Thanks, Garaad Raan, for confirming that Somaliland had its own citizenship in 1960.

The same document clearly states :

"Government of an independent Somaliland" — Regions do not become independent states do.

"Somaliland citizenship" — Citizenship belongs to states, not regions!.

Somaliland enacting its own laws — Only a sovereign government can enact its own citizenship legislation.

International responsibilities — The document discusses diplomatic representation and passports, which are functions of a state.

Somaliland's intention to unite with Somalia did not extinguish its legal personality.

Political intent! is not the same as a legal union.

Likewise, choosing not to establish separate embassies was a practical decision, not evidence of a lack of sovereignty.

The document confirms that independent Somaliland possessed its own government, citizenship, legislative authority, and international responsibilities all core attributes of statehood.
