We were disappointed to see dietitians associated with unregulated ‘coaches’ within The Guardian article. Unregulated individuals providing care to people with physical and mental health vulnerabilities is a cause for concern but sadly not surprising.

@doctor_chuks Difficult, yes. But very rewarding. I think tbh one of the more difficult aspects of our job is the lack of understanding and integration of the dietetic skill set into mental health care - particularly with regards to nutrition counselling and food relationships in ED care.
I talk a lot about the treatment that helped me start anorexia recovery, but not as much about the things that have preserved my recovery since I was discharged. I have been relatively well for around two years now, and I feel like there’s lots of reasons for that: 🧵
