I'll say it several ways. The sun is 400 times farther away than the moon. The angle formed between you, the sun, and the moon is no greater than 0.15 degrees. The line from you to the sun and from the moon to the sun are, for all intents and purposes, parallel. The sun's rays are striking both the earth and the moon from almost exactly the same direction.

Yes there is, but let's set that aside.

What if they own a 6 inch border between the 4th neighbor's property and the place they don't want anybody to come in from. What if a large conglomerate owns that border? How many people have to own it before you declare their ownership an illegitimate "state"? Is this just a semantic game or is there some set of foundational principles?
