The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.

The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.

Access to all other Claude models is not affected.

トランプ政権の内情に詳しいAxiosで、今回の米政府によるAnthropicのFable / Mythos停止についてもう少し詳しい内容が報道されていました。
・そもそも政権は当初のFable / Mythosのリリースに反対で、Anthropicは過剰とも言える安全策をかけて押し切って公開
・公開後すぐに安全策を無効にするジェイルブレイク手法が出てきたのを政権が察知したので、輸出規制の形で対応
