🦋 Real-time butterflies created with our VFX editor built on top of our custom #WebGPU engine 🦋
That's exactly what my stomach looks like right now💫

✨Real time VFX using skeletal mesh sampling in our custom #webGPU engine + mouse interaction🌈
Michelle dances, the skinned mesh updates, and thousands of particles follow the character in real time🦴
Every frame drives reactive GPU VFX directly from the animation.

Every. Single. Drop. 💖🌧️
Pushing our VFX engine to the limit: 100% GPU-driven, zero CPU overhead. No pre-baked textures, just pure procedural chaos.✨
Each raindrop spawns a smooth Hermite-interpolated trail in real-time via GPU events, then shatters into 8–10 unique splash particles on impact. Thousands of collisions running entirely on the GPU. ⚡️
#webGPU #gamedev
Built a particle simulation in #WebGPU inspired by the amazing work of @hector_arellano for @active_theory. Insanely fun to bring this to life with compute shaders ✨💗
Here is a little WIP demo of our WebGPU GI (global illumination) made with @Cora_Mat!
It is fully dynamic, no bake required. It works off-screen with nice color bleeds even if walls / meshes are not visible and with manageable artifacts (ghosting and defects here and there 🤫). It is not perfect and we're still tweaking performance but... smooth GI in the browser is something else!
#WebGPU
A closer look at the meshlet density. 🔍
Here is a raw capture of the 10,000 characters in debug mode.
300M triangles being culled and skinned entirely on the GPU. No trickery, just #WebGPU.

You know what’s even cooler than instanced skinning?
Full Meshlet Skinning with #WebGPU in the browser. 🦴
10,000 characters.
300M triangles.
Per-cluster culling.
Zero CPU bottleneck.
@Cora_Mat and I have spent the last few years building a custom GPU-driven engine for the web. More to come soon!🤫
Everyone is talking about liquid glass right now. How about some threejs/WebGPU powered softbody glass?
Quick & dirty demo available here: https://t.co/HsdYt8vAUY
Anyone got any ideas how to build something cool out of this? 🤔
If you want to know how to do this kind of texture blending in #threejs I made a tutorial of how you can do it using @nodetoy, which is a tool I really love. It's especially great for 3D folk getting into shaders.
I'll post the link in the replies.
