RIP Captain Sir Tom Moore, 100.
A magnificent man.
A national hero.
In our darkest hour since WW2, he rallied
Britain with his resilience, courage and optimism.
Let us all heed his mantra in our own lives: ‘Tomorrow will be a good day.’
Thank you, Tom.
@mairistella I feel this. The rush of panic I experience when I see the cat on the keyboard knowing he is highly likely to somehow open Outlook, transcribe “ur a dick” and send it to someone exceptionally senior
@NorthConsortium I’m a fundraising writer. I saw you on the news and was so impressed by what you’re doing. I’d like to try and support you with your grant writing. I’m still working 4 days a week so my time is a bit limited but very happy to chat about how I can best help.
The smug satisfaction & jokes at #BorisJohnson's condition is a reflection of inner ugliness and callous indifference to a global indiscriminate virus. You can oppose his views, statements, and policies, yet also hope the best for his well-being. I wish Boris a speedy recovery.
@safpta That’s fantastic! Huge well done to them. I think the most important thing to remember when it gets really tough is just to keep putting one foot in front of the other and moving forwards and it will come to an end eventually. Let me know how they get on! X
@jakegreenwood Brilliant!!! I absolutely love it. Very best of luck! Btw, do you have Instagram? I use that far more regularly so if so we should connect there - sorryivegottorun
@jakegreenwood Plz don’t be put off! It’s a great experience but probably one of the toughest things you’ll do. Just train properly and respect the distance! You’ll do great 😊
