Hey #buildinpublic π Let's connect!
I'm Sotka, a software dev by day who builds iOS apps after hours π±
Looking to connect with:
β’ iOS & indie devs
β’ Founders growing their first app
β’ People into paywalls, ASO & organic marketing
β’ Anyone building with AI tools like Claude Code
Say hi below and I'll follow back π€ #connect
@starter_story But you don't speak about Y1: 0$, Y6: 0$. While when you are employed, you get insurance and stability. Plus, if you work at Google, Anthropic, or smth. u are getting a lot of money. Start your own business it's not about money, I guess
Why is everyone suddenly talking about leaving Apple's ecosystem and building for other platforms?
I'm still all in on iOS. Did I miss something? π

@ivanmessinait ahahaha, mate, before mac, I used fucking HP laptop, and it was a nightmare. On battery, it worked for like 20 minutes after 2 years of use. Ubuntu was lagging all the time.
@ivanmessinait Same here, once you're in Apple's ecosystem it's really hard to leave π For me, I think it's nearly impossible.
Would be awesome to connect!
@timur_found I've seen a lot of posts from devs complaining about their apps getting removed from the App Store.
As a developer, this is pretty concerning to me, and I still haven't figured out why it's happening.
@arthuryuzbashev "Features aren't moat anymore". Yes, if you are building another habit tracker. But try to copy Resend, Zapier, Strava or something like that π
Distribution was always the main thing, even before AI.
@KyleWang1087922 Yo Kyle, nice to meet you! AI music for people with zero music background is a fun idea, I'm definitely in that audience π Let's connect π€
