Japanese INF Teruaki Sato of the Hanshin Tigers (NPB) has entered MLB’s posting system. The 27-year-old Sato won the Central League Triple Crown in 2026, batting .306 with 39 home runs and 106 RBIs, and won his second consecutive Central League MVP Award. In six NPB seasons, Sato hit .271 with 163 homers and an .851 OPS.
