Fifteen years ago I published a discernment blog post on my site warning of Dr. Keller’s “great errors.” 🤦 The language pointed, the tone uncharitable, within an hour a friend texted to say while I may have landed a point or two worthy of consideration, my approach was wrong. /1
If he wouldn’t give up on you when hell itself was coming down into his heart, why would he give up on you because you’ve blown it this week? –@timkellernyc's sermon, The Heart of Jesus

Friends, if you truly care about the truth, you will want people to believe it. Say it, then, in a way that makes it as hearable as possible. Words take craftsmanship. You need truthful words. You need kind and gentle words. And you need apt, appropriate, beautiful words.
The greatest nightmare of the approval addict is rejection; of the power addict, humiliation; of the comfort addict, suffering; and of the control addict, uncertainty.
@timkellernyc Truly a life well lived and now it culminates with a profound living hope that ‘the best is yet to come’. Lord, show TK’s family and us - his brothers and sisters - your Glory and invade us with your love in the days to come. #ThankYouTimKeller
