Sound Friends is a local group of The National Deaf Childrens Society. Its a group of parents of deaf children in the Lurgan, Craigavon,and Newry/Mourne areas.

Since this has been getting a lot of attention I’d like to clarify a few things! 1. I’m Deaf, not “hearing impaired,” “mute,” or “dumb” 2. I can speak, I just sometimes prefer not to 3. I like being Deaf, and deafness is not a bad thing
