Post Photographic Perspectives Part II: Acceptable Realities
We are honored to announce the 2nd lineup of artists at the forefront of AI. Through video and still images, the artists explore ideas about the world we live in and question how we represent it.
@djhistory Don’t usually think of music I love in a “best of” context, but this song is a lifetime favorite!
Luther+the bass+composition+the memories= 🪩 ❤️
@RealSexyCyborg Or at least the potential for that to happen is decreased. That it's qualitatively different, less compelling as an "artistic" interaction between performer and audience.
@RealSexyCyborg Of course, I enjoy it almost daily as an audience—mostly of one in front of my computer.
😀🎶 I'm suggesting that experiencing music in a live situation or dancing to a Dj in a club for that matter is different emotionally, spiritually-lets say, than when it moves on line.
@RealSexyCyborg I've found the possibility of a deeper musical experience is greatly diminished once it moves online. Whether by musicians streaming, a recorded concert and certainly a DJ set.
Not judging, but I don't think it's such a simple comparison.
@RealSexyCyborg Simply comparing it to busking may be a bit skewed. The live element of performing on the street is that the performer and the audience are together in the same space even though it's transient.
