@CubanMLM For real? Because if so of course he’s a rich nepo fed white boy istg these American national socialism parties are so fucking obviously cooked by 3 letter orgs
@FrankMeadows84 No defense of hippies but silent gen and boomers definitely whitewashed that era’s activism. They used to bomb and set ROTC offices and recruitment stations on fire at least. This is what precipitated the shooting at Kent state.
@mganj79 God, and I thought you were rational and not lefttwt poisoned. What does middle class mean to you? It seems like some weird religious justification for vows of poverty you are using? I doubt I qualify enough for your self defined middle class at least in my own country.
@mganj79 this is what I also said when I said I don’t necessarily agree with Lenin. I agree with you that the intelligentsia is not necessary to producing a class revolution, however knowledge producers are necessary to a communist society and even Lenin recognized that
@mganj79 What I disagree with when I said I don’t necessarily agree is you and Lenin’s similar need to extract the intelligentsia’s proles from the rest of the proletariat because they have reactionary view points. My original point being they are as reactionary as the rest of their class
@mganj79 You should like Lenin’s defining because it allows you to make said moral judgments about professors and their role in producing reactionary knowledge while still doing the recognizing that you are not that a lot of intelligentsia’s relation to means of production is proletariat
@mganj79 I don’t know what you mean by the middle class. In the US, the intelligentsia isn’t purely middle class neither is the proletariat primarily poor. many in the trades now make much more than teachers and a lot of PhDs. I agree though the more money seemingly the more reactionary
@mganj79 It’s in. It overall produces reactionary knowledge because it’s in a capitalist system. The intelligentsia (besides the proles of that group) isnt necessary to revolution ie changing ownership of the means of production
@BicthCommie your union is absolutely captured by Israeli capital and keeps the intl logistics chain open for genociding states but closed for Cubans but wasn’t the whole point of dunking on university grads by your comrade to capture industries from capital not just be a rich chud?
@inquisitius Also this will likely be my last year as it feels like landscaping and gen labor wages (around 20$ an hour) have not changed much since I was 18 while wages for teaching summer school has gone up.
@inquisitius Hardest I’ve ever worked in my life and lowest I’ve ever been paid was working fast food and restaurants.
I do land and hardscaping in the spring and summer and it helps me stay afloat but I’d give up if I relied on that labor all year.
@SwampCommunist@VenturCommunist And not even the learning that takes place there is the worst aspect but instead that American universities are sports complexes and property holders that sometimes very occasionally use sports and land owning speculative money for research and learning
@SwampCommunist@VenturCommunist Who do you think teaches public school teachers to be effective teachers? I think a lot of you don’t even realize what a public university is or what training many professions need to do their job and I don’t even blame you as much as I blame the American university system
