Budget Car rental is the worst. They just called us 20 mins before we’re supposed to pick up a car to tell us there are no cars in the state of Wisconsin or Illinois. We are Fastbreak members and in their corporate program. Loyalty means nothing to them @Budget#budgetcarrental

@Budget What is going on at PHL? You have tons of buses in the lot, but only two small buses driving around. One passenger said they waited two hours for a bus and we waited almost an hour. We will miss our flights waiting that long.

Horrendous service by @Budget . They charged me 4 times the overall cost of the rental duration and are impossible to reach out to to get my money back. Customer service is busy all the time and no alternative way to resolve this.

@Budget@Budget I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction regarding a reservation I made for a Jeep Wrangler at the Budget location at 7171 Stage Road.
At approximately 10:34 a.m. today, an employee from the 7171 Stage Road location called me to confirm whether I was still coming to pick up my reserved vehicle. I confirmed that I was and advised him that I would arrive at approximately 1:00 p.m. I also asked whether I could come earlier. I was told, “No, we don’t have the vehicle yet. I am waiting on returns.”
I arrived at 12:58 p.m., only to be told, the Rogue you reserved is not here.” I immediately explained that I had not reserved a Rogue and that I wanted the vehicle I had actually reserved. I was then informed that the 7171 Stage Road location does not rent Jeep Wrangler vehicles.
I was subsequently offered my choice of a 15 passenger van or one of two Dodge Ram 2500 pickup trucks that were available on the lot.
Respectfully, this is unacceptable.
If Budget knew that the vehicle I reserved was not available or if this particular location does not rent Jeep Wranglers then I should have been notified before I arrived at the location. The same employee who took the time to call me at 10:34 a.m. to confirm that I was still coming should have also been able to determine that my reserved vehicle was unavailable and notify me accordingly.
Instead, I made the trip to the location based on a confirmed reservation, only to be told upon arrival that the vehicle I reserved was not available and that my alternatives were vehicles I never requested.
If I wanted a Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck or a 15-passenger van, I would have reserved one.
Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident. Each and every time I rent from the 7171 Stage Road location, I encounter some type of issue. This most recent experience has reached a point where I am questioning whether I should continue doing business with Budget at all.
As a result, I left the location without a rental vehicle and was placed on a “waiting list” in hopes that a suitable vehicle might eventually become available. From a customer’s perspective, this is extremely poor customer service and unacceptable business practice when the customer has made a reservation in advance.
I am requesting a clear explanation of what occurred, why I was allowed to arrive at the location without being notified that my reserved vehicle was unavailable, and what Budget intends to do to address this situation.
If this is how reservations and customers are going to be handled at the 7171 Stage Road location, please advise me directly so that I can make an informed decision about taking my business elsewhere in the future.
Please understand that this email is not the end of my efforts to address this matter. I intend to forward this complaint through the appropriate channels so that the circumstances surrounding my reservation and the handling of this situation can be properly reviewed.
I will be patiently awaiting your response and expect a substantive reply addressing the concerns outlined above.
Respectfully,
