So many thanks to the amazing @BudGardenCentre for raising another £870 for us and putting us within a short reach of our overall target! Legends!! (And it was a lovely day out too!) 😘

[Bud Garden Centre @BudGardenCentre]

Open Gardens: we sold 360 programmes, which is about the same as 2018, when the sun was shining and there were no extra holidays. Fabulous result for a rainy day! We've got £870 each for @southmancsanc and @PerennialGRBS.

Our pals @BudGardenCentre are hosting their annual Levy/Burnage Open Gardens this Sun - proceeds will support our efforts to resettle a refugee family in our area, & there's a caf run by and for @FfTMCR
Please come along and enjoy a not-the-jubilee garden party! #RefugeesWelcome

[Bud Garden Centre @BudGardenCentre]

The forecast is good for Levenshulme and Burnage Open Gardens a week on Sunday (5th June).
Jubilee? Nope, not here: come out and support your community, and 3 very important charities. You can have a street party any time you like, you don't need an excuse.

Huge congrats to our project lead @mellordramatix for completing his first #ManchesterMarathon and raising over £2k to help us resettle a refugee family in our local area. We're dead proud! 🥰🧡🏃🏻‍♂️👍🏻

Before (tweet didn't send immediately)... And after! That was a whole big bowl of gruel but glad to have finished in 4hr20m (or at all frankly) and dead chuffed to have raised over £2K for @southmancsanc. Donations still open if you're feeling generous, link in profile ⬆️🧡🥵🥰

Thanks so much to everyone who came along to our first public meeting this week, it was great to feel the support of our local community for what we're doing and meet new prospective members/volunteers. We had poetry, we had brilliant speakers, we had, if anything, too much cake!
