The main objective of SOYDEN is to solidify peace building programs in Somalia through educational, skills training & recreational activities for young people.
We have yesterday 4th Sep 2023 concluded a 3days training for COS's representatives on policy analaysis to identify key policy gaps and implementation issues related to the CSO's actions/regulations and inclusion of women,men minorites PLWDs,and IDPs Mogadisho-Somalia.

Training on More women, more peace: Women’s participation in local peace building for 34 women members and 17 chairpersons of district committees from Banadir region conducted at Peace hotel, Mogadishu. 23rd -30th October 2021.
The recently concluded training for 10 trainees on women’s participation in local peace building at Peace hotel, Mogadishu from 16th -22nd Oct 2021. The trainees will train members of DBCs in Banadir region on”More women, more peace: Women’s participation in local Peace building
Because of their selfless voluntary work, many conflicts have been avoided while numerous others have been resolved.

On this day the world is invited to spread compassion, kindness and hope in the face of the conflicts and misunderstandings, We celebrate the efforts of the district peace committees (DPC) in Somalia for their role as early warning mechanisms and as a fora for dispute resolution.
15 members comprising of elders, women, religious actors, IDPs and business community were elected to the new #Mataban District Peace Committee.
Capacity building training for the new DPC is scheduled to begin on Saturday 2nd Dec 2021.

The 4 days training ended with the participants (each community sector) electing their representatives to the District Peace committee.
SOYDEN has Yesterday started a 4days training on peace building, conflict resolution, conflict awareness, conflict early warning & prevention, leadership & trauma healing for 120 participants from across all the different community sectors in Matabaan ahead of the DPC formation
