The fact that “pocho” predates “Chicano” doesn’t mean the terms are interchangeable today, or that “pocho” is the appropriate modern term for Chicanos. Historical precedence and current usage are two different arguments.

Additionally, nobody in Mexico even cares enough about Chicanos for it to be a “thing.” If anything, contrary to your bullshit story (sorry), Chicanos more often than not take pride in their “American” lineage and look down on actual Mexicans. That’s the actual reality—not the social media propaganda you’re peddling, my guy.

it's interesting because, you actually have it backwards; Chicano was a word invented by mexicans living in america (first-generation born) to refer to other mexicans that were born in the US (second gen), pocho is a word created by mexicans in mexico. So actually, both words are more mexican than american. Moreover, there's not a singe mexican that calls mexican-americans "Pocho", we call them Chicanos, as the origin of the word intentended.

This is the problem with the current 5-hour window.

A weekly limit is one thing. A weekly limit plus another limiter that prevents many users from ever reaching it is just bad product design.

The fix is obvious: loosen the 5-hour cap, remove it when capacity allows, and let Luna take over when Sol runs out.

Until then, the reset mostly feels like a Pro celebration with Plus users standing outside the party.
