I honestly think Viserys deserves more blame for the Dance than Daemon ever does

• Won the throne through male-preference succession then named Rhaenyra his heir
• Fathered three sons and never resolved the contradiction
• Never gave Daemon Aegon or Aemond lands titles or meaningful responsibilities
• Let both sides grow up resenting each other
• Allowed Rhaenyra to marry Daemon despite knowing how divisive it would be
• Never gave either side a clear path to coexist

Then he died
