After more than a decade of research, writing, revising, questioning, and waiting, tonight is the first time WARD meets her readers.
If you're joining me at The Well in Covington tonight, June 29, 6-9pm, thank you for the support and celebration!

For years, the story lived in archives, cemeteries, church basements, forgotten records, and family silences. In two weeks, it becomes yours.
Join me June 29 at The Well in Covington, Kentucky.

@DNicholsAuthor I write new-age gothic nonfiction and could lean into deeper psychological terror and haunting but I think I would be uncomfortable with "splatter" horror.
@JoshPhillipsPhD My book comes out in July but the ARC will be ready by end of June. It's narrative nonfiction, a haunting literary memoir about women erased from history and the daughter who uncovers their silence. Let me know if you're interested!
@ScribblerJB I can relate! That was my focus over winter break '25. What a transformation! And the extracted content will be a great start on my next project. Sending good vibes.
@BeckyLTuch Yes! Or maybe its that I'm less concerned with what others think at this age and more confident in letting my ideas loose. It's now or never . . . tick, tock!
WARD is a haunting memoir about inherited silence, hidden histories, and the moment I discovered my mother had been sold as a child and raised under a different identity.
Presale signing event Monday, June 29, 6-9pm at The Well in Covington. I hope you'll join!
