Third party leasing boosts Tesla’s cash flow by their selling vehicles to third party leasing companies. Well-structured true leases always offer lower monthly payments than bank financing, as banks always undervalue residuals if they take residuals at all, resulting in higher payments versus leasing companies which are more aggressive. Tesla can also take participation
agreements in any third party residual profits further increasing their cash flow.

@richwheeless @parcelpal Article says “ and acquired numerous vehicles as we expanded into new markets”. You may want to consider leasing future vehicles, as a joint venture, a fleet you can lease out to other companies, as well, US based only. Just a thought based on your business model from what I see.
