Last class period in Interior Design we had our first Design Challenge! Today we talked about how we can critique a design, practiced critiques, and made updates to our design to grow as a creative. 📏💙
It was great starting day two of WorkCTE by hearing from the state advisers and state officers from 6 of the 8 CTSOs in Kansas. It’s always great hearing about how career and technical student organizations enrich CTE for both teachers and students!
Preparing these Monte Cristo sandwiches built on our French Toast skills from last week. Trying this fabulous flavor combination proved intriguing for many students today… mayo, grainy mustard, ham, Swiss, powdered sugar, and fruit preserves. Yum. @Spangler_FCS#sayyestofcs
Panther Classic practice day…
We prepared the Cocktail Meatballs for the first time this year. We fixed the sauce, as well. This was our day to get used to making the correct size. Next week we will fix 40 batches to serve in our hospitality room! @Spangler_FCS#sayyestofcs
So proud of my 2 FCCLA District Officers Maddie and Mackenzie! Today they got to travel to Valley Falls to present their workshop at the District E West Fall Conference! They presented over FCCLA’s Student Body Program which teaches students to build up their overall wellness!
Thank you to all of the @PiperUSD203 families that donated bags gently used clothing, shoes, and fabric goods at our first of three FCCLA drop off nights! We collected 30 bags out of our goal of 300, so we have plenty of work to do! Catch us pick up #2 this Saturday 9-11am at PHS

FCCLA NLC Day 5 Recap: last day of NLC :( started off with the awards where Kansas FCCLA took home over 100 gold medals. We also got to see 2 Kansas members installed as new National Officers. We wrapped up the day with the NLC Afterparty for some well-earned fun! #fcclanlc

FCCLA NLC Day 4 Recap: today we found out the Kansas has 2 students that were selected to serve on the national executive council - the highest leadership position in FCCLA. We are so proud of them! We also enjoyed the San Diego Zoo with 4,000 other FCCLA members! #fcclanlc
