I started my journey in music as a producer back in 2012. I created and released several instrumental albums to support independent and upcoming artists who couldn't afford to produce their songs from scratch.

I invested my own time and money to promote these albums on platforms like 360nobs, Jaguda, and NotJustOk. If you were active in the Nigerian music scene back then, you'll know how influential those blogs were, and how much it cost to get featured on them. I did it simply because I wanted to reach as many emerging artists as possible.

That same passion led me to start XDistro Music - @xdistromusic in 2018, with a goal to help artists get their music onto streaming platforms and in front of a wider audience.

In October 2024, my co-founder, David Odohi @spankie_dee, and I launched the XDistro Music platform. By February 2025, we had grown to over 1,000 users. We then decided to pause and spend time improving the platform so we could deliver a better experience.

Today, XDistro Music offers a much stronger platform with easy release creation, music distribution, catalog management, and royalty tracking. We even have a free trial period so you can get started without any upfront cost.
