Ranking the biggest shots in modern NBA history (link in thread).
As mentioned yesterday, the #1 shot is a put-back, but it wasn't OG's, which ranked 6th.
Derrick White #1
Ray Allen #2
Kyrie #3
Big Shot Bob #4 and #5
Listen… Spo & the whole Heat team doing all kinds of chicanery to help Bam get to 83 pts was indeed absurd. It’s also exactly what I wanted Mike Woodson/the Knicks to do for Melo when he had 62 with 9 minutes left & exactly what we’d all want for our own beloved franchise legend.
SDSU leads by 11 but loses 81-76 in likely its final trip to New Mexico and the Pit because it can't make free throws, it can't block out a 23-year-old Croatian pro and it comes out on the wrong end of an iffy video review.

I just did a DEEP dive on the rotation #’s and outcomes:
•11-man rotation: 6-4 record (includes wins vs Lamar/AFA/SJSU/FSU/WYO), FOUR games w/ player logging 6 or fewer min and 15x SCORELESS player
•10-man rotation: 8-3 record, three games w/ player logging 6 or fewer min and 10x SCORELESS player
•9-man rotation: 4-0 record (1/28-2/7), 19th ranked team during time span.
That span of 9-man was the best basketball SDSU has played all season.
Two things can be true:
A) BJ Davis has to make those FTs … second time this year he’s done that late.
B) Aztecs got homered on the decisive foul call.
The SDSU Aztecs got their first representation via Luka Dončić’s shoes in last night’s Lakers game.
Dončić had previously worn several Jordan Brand–sponsored schools’ shoes in-game, with the last being North Carolina via the Luka 2.

Of the 10 most improbable comebacks of the playoffs in the play by play era (since 1997), the 2025 Indiana Pacers have THREE of them.
#4 (tonight), #5 (against the Cavs), and #7 (against the Bucks)
