@0dessaWolfe@ChessieRenata Thrift the books or rent them from the library lol. She gets nothing from those methods. You reading the books doesn't mean you support the individual authors beliefs. Harry Potter is an amazing series actually, regardless of how the author potrays herself outside of her books.
@Bruvdojn@moonlightcinny@Adaora_ble@choc0tube It is relatively true, I've never noticed someone's pierced ears if there's no earrings there. You'd have to be looking real close, and even then it depends on the person. My brother had his ears pierced, wore an earring as a teenager and now the hole is visibly gone.
@crumblingreader@Adaora_ble@choc0tube It's definitely different than a tattoo! but idc tho :) it's normal to me and a huge percentage of people. It's also cultural. the people complaining and regretting theirs is a very small minority of people! I'll be piercing my babies ears regardless.
@crumblingreader@Adaora_ble@choc0tube I've never met a single woman who regrets getting her ears pierced as a baby, I'm one of them. Sometimes the older you are, the more scared you are of things that aren't actually scary. It's way easier to get them done as a baby because there's no anxiety over something miniscule
@xxdfdxf My own ignorance? lol. I knew about Palestine before Oct 7th, I had a close Palestinian friend growing up. It's also how I can tell, with near certainty, that most people didn't actually know about it prior. Your response makes me think you didn't even know either, actually LOL.
@jieunpoetry@juuxiie2 These people have some of the most darkest skeletons in the closet but are incapable of emotional and behavioral growth themselves, so they lack perception when it comes to other people. They're always usually worse than the person they're trying so hard to cancel.
@litwicksunset@juuxiie2 It's because these people haven't been caught, or the person who could expose them isn't doing that. They feel safe enough to cancel and demonize others, but won't do any personal reflection about their own skeletons in the closet. They don't exist because they aren't exposed.
@crumblingreader@Adaora_ble@choc0tube most girls do want their ears pierced that's the thing lol. like it is quite rare that a girl doesn't want earrings.
@dylanisagun They're always going to consider it performative because to them, growth is exactly that. They've personally made no progress with individual growth in their own life and they genuinely think that's normal. So, anyone who does is inauthentic. It's a pattern I've noticed.
@yomitonz it isn't fair because there's been countless things that has come out about her that debunks these things. people misconstrued her, and she corrected herself when she made uneducated statements. this stuff is available online. here, I'll tag you in something.
