Captain Smit Machchhar, bleeding and lying on the cockpit floor, reaches up and releases the door lock. The relief pilots rush in, take control and land at Tabuk. Everyone walks off alive.

The weapon was probably the crash axe that every airliner is required to carry in the cockpit. It's there to save lives.

My salute to the Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary bravery.

Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster.

He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals.

I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery.

The situation was quite like 9/11.

Terrorist trained to be a pilot, looks for an opportunity to enter the cockpit, and then kill the captain to eventually take control of the plane & crash it.

This plan was even more foolproof. The terrorist was the co-pilot, no need of announcing a hijack, had an axe instead of a box-cutter, and just had to neutralise one pilot instead of two.

Imagine the bravery of the Indian pilot, who was relentlessly being attacked by an axe, yet managed to relay the signal of a hi jack. And MOST IMPORTANTLY opened the cockpit door so that others can enter. Saved 100+ lives.

The Gujarati pilot, Smit deserves the biggest bravery award. 🙏

🚨OSINT — WAS A LARGER REGIONAL MEETING HELD IN ABU DHABI?

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made an unannounced visit to Abu Dhabi on Sunday, where he met UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed.

But flight-tracking data raises an interesting question: Was Netanyahu’s meeting part of something larger?

Around the same time Netanyahu’s private jet M-ULTI arrived in Abu Dhabi, OSINT flight trackers recorded several other government or VIP-linked aircraft converging on the UAE capital, including:

• A Libyan aircraft reportedly linked to the Haftar camp
• A Moroccan Air Force C-130
• A Qatari government aircraft
• A UAE-owned aircraft arriving from Riyadh
Netanyahu’s aircraft reportedly flew through Jordanian and Saudi airspace before reaching Abu Dhabi.
No one has confirmed so far that these flights were connected or that a broader summit took place. Some of the aircraft may have been in Abu Dhabi for unrelated reasons. Still, the concentration of regional government/VIP traffic within the same window as Netanyahu’s previously undisclosed meeting with MBZ is notable and worth watching.
