@GraceRandolph I was worried I wouldn't like it, but I loved it and thought it was great. I am into intelligence, psionics, and aliens, so it might have an impact on it.
@Erdayastronaut Given it is just a rendezvous mission, those selected probably have more to do with tasks/science involved. The landing mission will probably have 1-2 women because they would have been trained for that mission specifically.

@planefag You would need a half-underground home, sort of like how the hobbits live. Basically, build a home and then dump a pile of dirt on it and grow grass over the whole thing with gentle slopes.
@DefenceGeek I made an argument on reddit a few weeks ago that negotiations are only there for the US to discover which factions want peace on US terms and which don't, so once negotiations end, they can bomb the latter group and try to secure power for the former.
@SomeBitchIIKnow The main issue is that getting into these job training programs is that you can't be working, so you can get it on unemployment, but unemployment forces you to take any job you are offered - but then you lose your eligibility and lose your school/training program.
@SomeBitchIIKnow There is an argument for increasing the fee, but I'm not sure $500k would be a good amount. At 500k the companies would rather just pay OT, overwork the people they have, or pay off politicians; at 100k, it's cheap enough to be financially doable.
